I don't know what made me think Sam was a criminal or a thief.He did make sure to let me know that he had five warrants out for his arrest,mostly for being an obnoxious drunk in public.

He did explain that he had a long criminal record mostly for violent behavior, but i felt that he was telling the truth that he didn't hit women, only men. He was gentle with animals and my dogs loved him, although I'm not sure that there is anyone with biscuits that my dogs do not love.

I guess there was something about his deviant criminal demeanor that I found sexy. I also started to wonder at this point about my choices in men and what the hell is wrong with me that i can't just find myself a nice rich guy who doesn't drink and have a history of criminal behavior. Sam had been a crack addict and had managed to kick that habit, so i figured he had potential.

Sam's mom thought that i just might be the woman to change Sam into a decent law abiding citizen.I didn't tell my mother too much about Sam except when i later kicked him out for being drunk and obnoxious which is another story. I just told mom that Sam drank too much which was socially acceptable for her so that when Sam came back to live with me after he served time for his warrants, Mom wouldn't ask too many questions.
